openscad-dbg software package provides script file based graphical CAD environment (debugging symbols), you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install openscad-dbg
openscad-dbg is installed in your system.
Make ensure the openscad-dbg package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep openscad-dbg *
You will get with openscad-dbg package name, version, architecture and description in a table
